SUMMARY:Featherston Wastewater Treatment Plant Community Liaison Group - 8 October 2026
DESCRIPTION:Community Liaison Groups (CLGs) are typically agreed during RMA consenting processes as an effective means to ensure supply of information about ongoing operation and development of complex projects.  They are particularly useful when there are concerns about how developments will perform (and manage effects on the environment) and where design detail has yet to be developed. \nCLG meetings are a requirement of the resource consent for the Featherston Wastewater Treatment Plant\, with membership in accordance with the terms of reference. \nIn order to ensure that any member of the Featherston community can have their questions considered and responded to at CLG meetings\, the Featherston Community Board are CLG members. For transparency\, CLG meeting minutes are made available on our meetings page.
