My principal place of residence is in the South Wairarapa District Council area.
As a business owner, seventh-generation South Wairarapa local and mother. I’m standing for Mayor because it’s time for a practical leadership approach. Our communities deserve to grow in ways that reflect their unique character and strengths with reliable services, decent infrastructure and Council delivering real value for money.
My background is business, project delivery, management and governance. I’ll bring you real world experience, not politics as usual. I understand the pressure of rising rates and declining services. I’m determined to turn that around.
I’ve fiercely advocated for our community, consulted widely. Deeply researched Council operations and policies. Giving a clear view of what’s working, what’s failing and pathway to fix it.
I’m 38, bring energy, grit, and long-term commitment. Let’s get South Wairarapa back on track, town and country, together. With transparency, purpose and discipline.
It’s time for a new voice, deep roots and a strong future.

Beautiful South Wairarapa is my home by choice. But after paying rates for 22 years, I know we need fresh thinking and strong, effective leadership. Rates are rising sharply, hurting families and retirees, with stalled building consents resulting in retailers and tradies shedding jobs.
Real change is needed now. The Council must stop deferring decisions and start acting, especially on urgent issues – infrastructure and economic growth. For me, this will require resetting Council culture, ensuring it’s transparent, user-friendly and provides value for money.
Importantly, the Mayor’s role isn’t just chairing Council meetings. It’s advocating, enabling, supporting and collaborating with communities to deliver enduring solutions, restore confidence and build social cohesion. We should also celebrate our diversity and creativity.
I offer deep experience leading complex organisations across local and central government and the private sector, together with energy, empathy and a proven track record of getting things done.
