The Greytown Town Centre is a historic building which has been beautifully restored in keeping with Greytown’s colonial character.  The centre is home to Greytown’s library and information centre.

Greytown Town Centre – main Forum

The main Forum is suitable for meetings, theatre, dining, cabaret, weddings and other events.  Seating is available for up to 135 people for a meeting or theatre or 94 for dining or cabaret. 
To extend the capacity of the main Forum, dividing screens between the main forum and the WBS Room can be opened and these facilities hired together. 
Hire includes tables and chairs and use of the kitchen facilities.

WBS Room

The WBS Room is suitable for meetings, dining and other events.  Seating is available for up to 101 people for a meeting or theatre or 70 for dining or cabaret. 
The dividing screens between the main Forum and the WBS Room can be opened and these facilities hired together. 
Hire includes tables and chairs and kitchen facilities are available for an additional charge.

Upstairs meeting rooms

A couple of smaller meeting rooms are available upstairs in the Town Centre:

  • Green Room – meeting capacity of up to 20 people
  • Joe Rewi Room – meeting capacity of up to 6 people 

Greytown Old Library

The Greytown Old Library building was constructed in 1891 as a Masonic Lodge on West St, Greytown. It was moved to its current site in 1979 and converted to a Library, which opened in 1980. Since the Library was moved to the Greytown Town Centre in July 2007, the space has been used for a variety of community and retail purposes.

The large, open space is suitable for clear floor activities, such as displays, exhibitions and/or sale of goods.

Hire includes use of limited kitchen facilities but no chairs and tables are provided.
