Pay for Dog Registration

  • Please note the form below is for payment only. You must also fill out a Dog Registration Declaration form here OR sign your Dog Registration Invoice that you should have received. Then send it to us at reg@swdc.govt.nz or return your signed copy to Council by post or in person. You can also complete the form at one of our service centres at Featherston Library, Greytown Library or the Council office at 19 Kitchener Street, Martinborough.

    If you haven’t received a Dog Registration Invoice, contact us on 06 306 9611 or at enquiries@swdc.govt.nz and we will send you one.

    Please note: A 1.5% processing fee applies to credit and debit card payments.

    If you wish to pay via online banking, please deposit the full amount into:

    Account name: South Wairarapa District Council
    Account number: 02-0680-0027337-00

    and include the Particulars, Code and Reference from your Dog Registration Invoice.

    Once you have either:

    • Completed the online declaration and made your payment OR
    • Returned your signed and dated form and made your payment
    your tags will be sent to you by post within 10 working days.


  • You can find this number on your Dog Registration Invoice.
  • Payments are made using MasterCard or VISA Credit or Debit Card, using the secure Windcave Credit Card system
