Featherston public toilets closed | 12 December, 10am-2pm

Featherston is currently having 2.6km of aging water pipes replaced, improving water supply resilience to the community.

The Birdwood Street watermain renewal is nearing completion with the final connection work for a larger area scheduled for Friday 12 December.

To do this work, the water supply needs to be temporarily turned off from 10am to 2pm. This will impact some properties and the Featherston public toilets will be closed for use over this time.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • The Featherston public toilets will be closed from 10am to 2pm on Friday 12 December.
  • While the public toilets are closed, Portaloos will be positioned on the grass area between the Joy Cowley Playground and the RSA.

Project advice letters have been delivered to affected residents in the areas shown on the image below.

Traffic management will be in place. Please ensure that vehicles are kept clear of the work site. Thank you for your patience while this work is complete.
