Proposed stopping of a portion of road being Bell Street, Featherston

PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to section 342(1)(a) of the Local Government Act 1974 and the tenth Schedule thereto the South Wairarapa District Council proposes to stop the road described in the schedule to this notice.

SCHEDULE Wellington Land District

Description: 363 m2 adjoining to Wairarapa Line (Memorial Proc 29355) and Wairarapa Line (Railway New Zealand Gazette 2012 p. 2085 Balance Land). The portion of road forms part of Bell Street, and when stopped will be vested in the KiwiRail Wairarapa Line corridor.
