Flooding in Featherston is likely to increase in the future due to climate change, so understanding food risk is more important than ever. Recent community feedback has also highlighted the importance of ensuring everyone understands this risk.
This month, Wellington Water are running two community drop-in sessions where you can learn about the latest projects to understand flooding in Featherston. You can also play an active role in ensuring that the latest flood models are as accurate as possible, by sharing your observations and photos of previous flooding on the day.
