South Wairarapa District Council encourages all communities in its district to voice their feedback by Sunday 5 May about three decisions that the council has to make as part of the 2024-25 Enhanced Annual Plan (EAP).
“This is an open consultation and your voices will be heard on how we manage our precious water resources and fund the replacement of assets operated by the council,” says Deputy Mayor Melissa Sadler-Futter.
“It is incredibly important to tell us your thoughts, which define how we live now and in future in the South Wairarapa.”
Communities can make a submission about the EAP decisions:
· How much the council spends on operating and maintaining water services
· How council charges for water use
· How council pays for replacement of assets
The Enhanced Annual Plan consultation and related information are online at the South Wairarapa District Council website. Submissions can be made online or by collecting a submission form from any of the libraries or the council office.
“We are also interested to hear community feedback on other areas which can be given to the council by contacting one of your South Wairarapa District Council councillors,” says Sadler-Futter.
