Elsewhere:
- All roads to the coast are currently closed. This includes Flatpoint, Glenburn, Pahaoa, Tora Te Awaiti and White Rock.
- The Hinekura community is isolated until flooding recedes. Moeraki Road, between Takapau and the bridge close to Moeraki station, is impassable
- There is a slip on the road close to Wainuioru Station and trees are down in a number of places
- Bush Gully Road is expected to flood.
Drivers should in general be on the watch for flooding and slips due to the ground being so heavily saturated. We thank you for your feedback on road conditions, and ask for your patience as our stretched roading team makes its way around the district.
