Withthemove to Level 3 next Tuesday, the Martinborough Transfer Station will reopen for rubbish,recycling and greenwaste with extended hours for the first week, in anticipation of high demand. Opening hours will be from 10:00am to 4:00pm, Tuesday 28 April through to Sunday 3 May.

Hours will return to normal the following week (beginning 4 May).

For the safety of the transfer station staff, contactless payment is being implemented. Paywave will be the only acceptable way of paying, once this is in place.

Cash payments will not be accepted.

The Featherston and Greytown Recycling Centres will also re-opennext week with extended hours in anticipation of the backlog of recycling and greenwaste. Both centres will be open Tuesday 28 April through to Friday 1 May from 11:00am to 3:30pm.

Opening days and times will return to normal the following week. (beginning 4 May)

Please be patient and stay in your vehicles if there are queues. In Level 3, people are still advised to limit unnecessary travel. Where possible, please combine your trip to the transfer station with other essential travel.
