There will be some facility closures and changes to Council services over Easter weekend, from Good Friday on 3 April to Easter Monday on 6 April.

Customer Service Centre

The Council offices and Customer Service Centre at 19 Kitchener Street, Martinborough, will be CLOSED over this period. But you can still contact the Council should you need to – just call 06 306 9611 for assistance. All calls will be diverted to our after-hours service.

Rubbish and recycling collection

Due to the public holiday on Easter Monday, all rubbish and recycling collections will take place one day later than usual. Collections will take place:

• Greytown – Wednesday 8 April
• Martinborough – Thursday 9 April
• Featherston – Friday 10 April

South Wairarapa Libraries

Featherston, Greytown and Martinborough Libraries will be CLOSED for the Easter weekend, with usual hours resuming from Tuesday 7 April.

Online services will continue to be available 24/7, with thousands of e-books, e-audiobooks and magazines on Libby, as well as movies and documentaries on Beamafilm available FREE with your South Wairarapa Libraries library card.
