The 2025 Greytown Santa Parade will take place on Saturday 13 December 2025 between 12pm and 4pm, which will mean a road closure during these hours.

This proposal to close public streets/roads to vehicular traffic is made pursuant to the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965. Notice is hereby given that the New Zealand Transport Agency (Waka Kotahi), for the purposes of the 2025 Greytown Santa Parade, proposes to close the following street to ordinary vehicular traffic for the period indicated.

The full road closure of State Highway 2 (SH2) between North Street and Humphries Street for the Greytown Santa Parade 2025 between 12pm and 4pm on Saturday 13 December 2025.

During the period of closure, the following provision will be made for ordinary vehicular traffic which would otherwise use the streets, to use existing alternative roads and streets into and around Greytown.

Any person objecting to the proposals is called upon to lodge notice of their objection and grounds thereof in writing, at the Council office at Martinborough Library, Texas Street, Martinborough, by the close of business on 30 November 2025.
