The Martinborough Christmas Parade is back this year again and is being held on Sunday 14 December 2025 from 3pm to 7.30pm. No postponement date has been set for this event. If it is unable to take place, it will be cancelled.
The community is invited to join Pain & Kershaw store in Martinborough and other local businesses and enter a float in the Martinborough Christmas Parade.
The event is a fun, festive and family friendly event for the whole community to either take part in or enjoy watching from the road side.
This application is for road closures at the following locations.
Road closures for Martinborough Christmas Parade
Kitchener Street / State Highway 53 (SH53) to be closed on Sunday 14 December 3pm to 7.30pm.
Other district road closures during the Martinborough Christmas Parade include
- Venice Street and Jellicoe Street
- Naples Street and Jellicoe Street
- Kansas Street (both Kansas streets) and Memorial Square
- Texas Street (both Texas streets) and Memorial Square
- Oxford Street and The Square
- Cambridge Road and The Square
- Kitchener Street and The Square
- The Square will be closed from 4pm to 6.30pm for events in the Square after the Parade.
- Removing TTM closure 6.30pm to 7.30pm.
- The road will reopen at 7.30pm on Sunday 14 December 2025.
