South Wairarapa District Council is the custodian of the historic Pain Farm Homestead, which is now available for rent from Friday 10 April 2026.

The four bedroom homestead is situated 2.4kms from Martinborough on Lake Ferry Road and is ideal for a family with its sunny, spacious and warm environment. The home has three working wood-burners and two heat pumps. It is surrounded by mature trees, a garden and farmland while also being close to Martinborough township with its schools, parks and retail, including a supermarket.

The home is set off the road and has plentiful carparking. Pets are allowed by consent but no smokers please.
