Roadwork is to be done on Bell Street in Featherston by John Fillmore Contracting to install chambers on both sides of the rail corridor to link them to road crossing trenches.

This work will be done with a road closure, which will be in place for 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It is anticipated to take approximately four weeks to complete.

The duration of the work is from Monday 15 December 2025 til Saturday 10 January 2026.

The plant onsite during this time includes:

• TTM vehicle
• 1 x 6-wheeler trucks
• 2 x excavators
• 2 x tool trucks
• 3 x utes

Excavations in the road will not allow traffic to pass during this time.

Residents and businesses will be sent a letter of notification to let them know the details of this work and the timeframes.
