The South Wairarapa District Council’s Dog Control Bylaw was reviewed in 2013 under Section 10(2) of the Dog Control Act 1996. A draft Bylaw was publicly notified on 10 June 2013 and two submissions were received. At their meeting on 19 September 2013 the Council considered the submissions and an Officer’s Report and approved the Dog Control Bylaw 2013, which will be operative on 1 October 2013.
