Featherston swimming pool will be closed between 8:45am and 3:45pm on Friday 8 January 2013 due to a power outage scheduled by PowerCo.  We expect the pool to open at 4:00pm.  Should PowerCo complete their work and restore power earlier, the pool will open earlier. 

Without power, the pumps don’t run, and without pumps the pool can’t be run safely.
