The “Find your Wild” Wellington Regional Trails website launched in December 2018 to promote the Wellington Region as a world-class destination for tracks and trails, and to encourage residents and tourists to get out there and explore.

South Wairarapa District Council is proud to have worked with the other local authorities, Greater Wellington Regional Council, Wellington Regional Economic Development Agency, Department of Conservation, and other trails partners in the region on a strategic framework for the trails in the Wellington Region, “Wellington Regional Trails for the Future”. The new “Find your Wild” Wellington Regional Trails website is a key deliverable of the framework.

The website includes information about tracks, trails, and biking, running and multisport events throughout the region, including South Wairarapa, It is expected to become a one-stop website for finding all things related to tracks and trails in the Wellington Region.
