South Wairarapa District Council will not be able to meet the statutory deadline of 31 October 2023 for the adoption of the 2022/23 Annual Report and have agreed to defer the date for adoption to the next Council meeting 22 November 2023.

The delay in the adoption of the Annual Report has been caused by several factors including resource constraints, fair value assessments and delays in impairments assessments of the Councils infrastructure asset.
