Road Closed
Due to rising water levels the road is now closed
Scheduled time:
Start: 21 Jun 2021 3:32am
Detour route: From SH2 use Featherston Creek Rd, Western Lake Road, East West Access Rd, Kahutara Road, and Lake Ferry Road or from SH53 use Kahutara Rd and Lake Ferry Rd for access between Featherston and Martinborough. Use Moreton Rd, Nix Rd, Kokotau Rd, and Ponatahi road for access between Carterton and Martinborough. Use Francis line, Gladstone Rd, Longbush Rd, Hinakura Rd, and Todds Rd between SH2 Clareville and Martinborough. Allow for up to an additional 40 – 50 minutes when traveling via these alternative routes.
