Annual Plan Consultation – live online Q&A event details now available

11 May 2020

Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, it is not possible for SWDC to hold the town hall meetings that usually feature in the Annual Plan consultation timeline.

The advertisedlive online Q&A events will go ahead as Microsoft Teams Live Events, starting this Thursday at 7pm for Martinborough ratepayers.Online live events will be held separately for Featherston and Greytown ward ratepayers next week on Monday and Wednesday evening, respectively.

Three events are being held to keep numbers manageable, but if you can’t join your ward’s event, or you have no affiliation to a specific ward, you can join the event that suits you best.

Each event will start with an introduction from Mayor Alex Beijen, followed by a short presentation from Harry Wilson on the Annual Plan Consultation Document, and concluding withan interactive Q&A session. You will be able to see and hear the presenters and submit written questions to them using theQ&A tool. The aim is to limit the meeting to 90 minutes, two hours absolute maximum, and it’s possible for people to join and leave the meeting without causing an interruption.

Attendees are encouraged to submit questions by 5pm the day before each live event. Please email your questions toap@swdc.govt.nz.

If you are not able to join an event live, a video recording and written Q&A will be available on the SWDC website as soon as possible after each event.
