FEATHERSTON WATER UPDATE – 9.10am Sat 20 June
Residents of Featherston and Greytown – please continue to conserve water this morning. Every effort to conserve helps us to restore the reservoir level to a point where we have enough water to flush Featherston’s network (it’s not there yet).
The Boil Water Notice in Featherston will stay in place until further notice, which means after the network has been flushed and water testing and Regional Public Health confirmit can be lifted. The team is meeting this morning and we’ll provide another update later today, as soon as we can.
There is NO Boil Water Notice in Greytown but residents there need to conserve water as the towns share a treatment plant.
