Resource Consent Hearing (Featherston supermarket)

Council received a Resource Consent Application from Trust House Limited for a Commercial development (a supermarket) within the Featherston Town Centre/Historic Heritage Precinct. Submissions and further submissions closed on 8 February 2012, and some submitters indicated they wished to be heard.

 

The Hearing of this application has been set down for Thursday, 19 April 2012 at

9.00 am in the South Wairarapa District Council chambers, 19 Kitchener Street, Martinborough, pursuant to s100 of the Resource Management Act 1991. 

 

The hearing is open to the public, but only submitters who have indicated they wish to be heard are allowed to participate in the hearing.  The hearing is to enable both the applicant and the submitters to state their case to an impartial Committee, after which a decision on the application will be made. The hearing is a formal semi-judicial process, but will be conducted as informally as possible, consistent with the procedures specified in the Act.
