Remutaka Hill Road CLOSED: Full road closure for resurfacing and general maintenance, Sunday to Thursday night (15-19 Feb), 9pm-4am. Book an escorted crossing on NZTA’s website.
State Highway 53 Martinborough, Bidwill’s Cutting Intersection: Stop/Go traffic controls in place for chipsealing on local road (Boundary Road) and drainage work, Monday and Tuesday during the day (16-17 Feb), 8am-5pm, and Thursday during the day (19 Feb), 8.30am-4pm.
Moroa and Pharazyns roads in South Featherston will be closed with a detour route in place for powerline maintenance work from Monday 19 January to Friday 13 March 2026. Find out more here.

Roads in and around Martinborough for the 2026 Martinborough Fair – to be held on two days: Saturday 7 February 2026 and Saturday 7 March 2026 from 4am to 6.30pm each day.
No 1 Line in Featherston, from 17 February to 27 March 2026 for road maintenance. It is anticipated that this work will take 13 days to complete. This is a full road closure for the duration of the work.
