“Help Shape the Future of Martinborough Ward”

The Martinborough Community Board is inviting residents and community members to help shape the future of Martinborough Ward. This is an opportunity to share what matters most to you, discuss local challenges and opportunities, and help identify the priorities that will guide future planning and decision-making across the Ward.

Complete the Community Surveys

Over recent years, particularly during the past 12 months, Martinborough Ward has experienced an increasing number of severe weather events. These events have highlighted how quickly parts of our community can become isolated, reinforcing the importance of household and community preparedness. The Martinborough Community Board is inviting residents to share their views to better understand our community’s current level of preparedness, identify common challenges and priorities, and help inform future advocacy, community resilience planning, and discussions with Emergency Management and other relevant agencies. The survey is designed to provide an overall picture of community preparedness across Martinborough Ward rather than identify individual households or circumstances. Feedback will be analysed and reported in summary form only to identify common themes and priorities.

This survey is an opportunity to tell the Martinborough Community Board what matters to you, what is working well, what may be missing, and what you would like to see protected, improved or prioritised. Feedback will help inform the Community Board Plan, future advocacy to Council, Annual Plan and Long-Term Plan submissions, community resilience planning, and ongoing engagement with the community.

Why participate?

Together, the survey and Community Conversations will help identify community priorities, aspirations, opportunities and possible solutions. Your feedback will help inform future planning, decision-making and advocacy across Martinborough Ward. We look forward to hearing your ideas, experiences and aspirations.
