Background
On 12 August 2026, RMA applications were lodged with Greater Wellington Regional Council and South Wairarapa District Council for the Martinborough Wastewater Treatment Plant Stage 2 Improvements project. This means that the applications and technical documents are now publicly available.
With the RMA applications lodged, it is over to the councils to decide how to proceed. The first steps are to assess the applications to determine if all relevant information has been provided, and then to determine the consenting pathway (non-notified, limited notified, or notified).
