Draft changes to Coastal Camping Bylaw 2009 to allow campers dogs at Ngawi and Ngawi Surf Breaks free camping sites

Over the last two summers concerns have been expressed about the inability of campers to take their dogs with them to the Ngawi and Ngawi Surf Break free camping areas.

The ban on dogs had arisen due to past problems, however Council has agreed to trial readmission of dogs to these sites after receiving a number of requests to do so.

Public Notice is hereby given that pursuant to Section 83 of the Local Government Act 2002 (LGA 2002) the South Wairarapa District Council has prepared a Statement of Proposal and draft Coastal Camping Bylaw 2009 (as amended in 2013) for the purposes of formal consultation with the South Wairarapa community.
