Colin Olds has formally resigned from his position as Featherston Ward Councillor with South Wairarapa District Council.

Chief Executive Janice Smith thanks Mr Olds for his service to the community and his contributions during his time as an elected member, serving from 2013 to 2019 and again from 2022 until his resignation in 2026.

This resignation creates an extraordinary vacancy on the Council.

A by-election for a Featherston Ward seat will be required to fill the vacant position and further details will be shared in coming weeks.
