- Crews across Wairarapa are assessing our roads, and addressing issues as quickly as they can
- Please avoid unnecessary travel, particularly on our impacted roads
- With heavy rain warnings in place until 6.00pm Thursday and an already saturated region, we don’t want anyone putting their own safety on the line

The Waihenga Bridge is CLOSED

Ponatahi Bridge and Ponatahi Road are OPEN

Kahutara Road at Oporua Spillway is CLOSED
LONGBUSH ROAD
Longbush Road is OPEN but caution is advised due to flooding
