
Featherston
There will be two ANZAC Day services in Featherson this year, to which residents and visitors are invited.
The Dawn Service is at 5.45am at the Cross of Sacrifice at Featherston Cemetery. Please be assembled at 5.40am.
The Civic Service begins at 9am. All who are taking part in the parade – veterans, emergency services, scouts, girl guides, cadets and others are asked to please arrive on Birdwood Street, next to Joy Cowley Park no later than 8.40am. The parade steps off at 8.50am and marches to the War Memorial for the wreath laying ceremony. At approximately 9.45am, the parade marches to ANZAC Hall for the main service at 9.45am in the hall. There will be a Traffic Management Plan in place. Anyone intending to lay a wreath at either service is asked to contact the RSA by phone 022 394 3695 before 12pm on Tuesday 21 April.

Greytown
The Greytown RSA Committee will conduct a public commemoration service at the WWII Memorial in Kuratawhiti Street at 10.30am on ANZAC Day, Saturday 25 April. The parade will march from Kuratawhiti Street to the South Wairarapa Workingmen’s Club. This will be followed by a short civic service at the Workingmen’s Club. There will be a Traffic Management Plan in place.

Martinborough
Those attending this year’s ANZAC Day parade in Martinborough are asked to gather outside Pain & Kershaw (supermarket) at 5.45am on Saturday 25 April. The parade will march from there at 6am, moving to the middle of Memorial Square where a Service of Remembrance will be held. Afterwards, the parade will march to Martinborough Town Hall on Texas Street, where the local Rural Women New Zealand are kindly helping to serve refreshments to all who are attending the parade.
If you are attending, please note that although the service ends in daylight, it will begin in darkness before dawn. Service sheets will be provided but we recommend bringing a torch or a book light to read.
We warmly welcome organisations and individuals who would to lay a wreath. If you intend to, please contact the organisers by email: martinborough.rsa@gmail.com – giving the name of your organisation. The organisers will create an order of wreath laying and assign a number to each group so that everyone knows when to step forward and things can proceed without crowding.

Lake Ferry
The Lake Ferry ANZAC Day service this year will include involvement from South Wairarapa District Council, veterans, marae, schools and local residents. The parade will form in the carpark by Lake Ferry Hotel and march to the flagpole under guidance of the parade martial. The march will begin at 10.30am with karanga at 10.30am.Following the service, there will be a community barbacue at Lake Ferry Domain for whanau and tamariki to attend.
