Featherston residents are invited to join the Featherston Community Board and share their views on the priorities for Featherston set out in Council’s Long-Term Plan. This is a chance to discuss local priorities, ideas and challenges facing the Featherston Ward.
Residents are invited to drop in, share their views and learn more at the Featherston Community Centre. Tamariki and rangatahi are welcome!

Community surveys
The sessions coincide with two community surveys currently underway – please share your feedback before 30 September.
- The community wellbeing survey is an opportunity to tell the Featherston Community Board what matters to you, what is working well, what may be missing, and what you would like to see protected, improved or prioritised. Feedback will help inform the Community Board Plan, future advocacy to Council, Annual Plan and Long-Term Plan submissions, community resilience planning, and ongoing engagement with the community.

- The board is also seeking feedback on community preparedness and resilience. This survey aims to build a better understanding of how prepared the community is for emergencies, identify common concerns and help inform future resilience planning and advocacy.
