Thursday 23 April and Friday 24 April 2026
Due to weather conditions earlier this week, the planned full road closure has been rescheduled for today, Thursday 23 April, and Friday 24 April 2026.
The Boar Bush Reservoir watermain pipe installation project, which began on 13 April 2026, is going well.
It is expected that the project will take around four weeks to complete, with completion anticipated to be in the second week of May 2026.
Hours of work are anticipated to be 7am to 5pm from Monday to Friday, with some Saturdays worked, if necessary.
To carry out our work safely, we need to extend our road closure that is currently open for resident access, to a full road closure over two working days – Thursday 23 April and Friday 24 April. The sections of road that will be fully closed are shown below.
This means that no vehicle access will be available to or from properties between 7:30am to 5pm on both days; however, safe pedestrian passage will be available throughout. The road will be temporarily reinstated at the end of each work day, so vehicle access will be available overnight.
Impacted residents who need to come and go during the day have been advised that on-street parking is available on Watt Street and that cars will need to be moved out of the road closure area before 7:30am each morning.
