Swimming pools

South Wairarapa district has three seasonal pools that open for the summer: Featherston Pool, Greytown Pool and Martinborough Pool. All three pools are managed by Community Leisure Management (CLM) on behalf of the council. Pool entry is free.

This summer season will run from 30 November 2024 until 9 March 2025.

2025 SPECIAL EVENT CLOSURES

The Featherston and Greytown pools will close early for exclusive use by the swim clubs on the following dates, for the annual community relay race fundraiser and swim meets.

Sunday 9 February Featherston pool will close to the public from 4.30pm for a community relay race fundraiser.
Sunday 23 February Greytown pool will close to the public from 4.30pm for swim club meets.
Sunday 2 March Featherston pool will close to the public from 4.30pm for swim club meets.
*RAIN DAY Sunday 2 March (only if Sunday 23rd is called off) Greytown pool will be closed from 4.30pm.

There will also be signage onsite.

Please note – the toddler pool at Greytown won’t be open until later in the season due to building works on the adjacent Greytown Sports Pavilion. Access to the end of the main pool, the BBQ and the grass area will still be available. Toddler pools are available at both the Featherston and Martinborough pools.
