South Wairarapa District Council is investing in Martinborough Pool behind the scenes by upgrading facilities in the changing rooms for improved safety and comfort of pool users.

The refreshed changing rooms will be a safer and more comfortable facility for swimmers and their families.

As part of the project, a new non-slip floor surface (pictured above) has been installed throughout the changing rooms. The improved flooring will make the area safer, particularly for children, who are often running between the pool and changing facilities.

The upgrade also includes plans for new roofing on both changing room buildings.

These improvements are part of ongoing work by the Council to maintain and enhance community facilities, providing a better experience for pool users and supporting a safe, enjoyable environment for everyone.

We hope the community and visitors to the district enjoy the refreshed facilities when the pool opens in summer this year.
