Road sealing work is to be done on Cape Palliser Road followed by sweeping and road marking at Ngawi on Thursday 15 October from 7.30am to 6pm.
In the event of bad weather or other unforeseen circumstances, the work will be postponed until the next suitable day.
While the work is taking place
- Please make sure your vehicle is not parked on the street during the work times. If it is in the way, it may have to be towed. If the towing operator is not able to return your car to where it was found, they are required to leave it in the nearest available park. If your car is missing, please check nearby streets before calling the contractor named below.
- Please warn children of the dangers posed by roadworks and ensure they stand well back from the work and follow the directions of workers.
- Please keep pets indoors while work is in progress.
- Please treat all new surfaces with extra care for the two weeks following the completion of this project. Avoid excessive speed, sharp turns and heavy braking.
Roadwork is a noisy, dirty business but please bear with us. We will do all we can to minimise the impact on your household and business. Your co-operation and patience will help us get the job done as quickly as possible.
Bitumen, concrete and other road repair materials require a bit of TLC after they are applied.
All new roadwork is routinely monitored and, in some cases, workers may need to return to the site to do things like sweeping and repainting road markings. You will receive another notice like this one if more work is required.
Thanks for your patience while this sealing work is taking place.
