On the 26 June 2013 the Draft Annual Plan 2013/2014 was adopted by Council.

Submissions on the Draft Annual Plan 2013/2014 were heard and deliberated on by Council on Monday 10 June 2013.  Twenty different groups presented their submission to Council in person and 120 individual issues were considered.  All submitters to the Annual Plan will be notified of their submission decision.

The total rates increase for 2013/2014 has been struck at 3.93% which is slightly higher than the 3.87% increase proposed in the Draft Annual Plan but below the 4.07% budgeted rates increase in the 2012/22 Long Term Plan.
