The following SWDC sports grounds are closed for sporting fixtures from today until further notice:

Soldiers Memorial Park, Greytown

Card Recreation Ground, Featherston

Randolf Park, Featherston

Coronation Park, Martinborough

Puruatanga Park, Martinborough

Again, the problem is the weather over the last week.  Limited grass growth at this time of year means that if any sports are played on these grounds, the resulting damage could force a longer period of closure.  SWDC’s contractor will review the state of the grounds on Monday 15 July, and again on Thursday 18 July, and any changes of status will be notified here.
