The South Wairarapa District Council welcomes your submission on draft plans for the district’s Coastal Reserves. The Draft Reserve Management Plan is a high level document that guides Council’s overall management of the coastal areas. The Draft Reserve Development Plan sits under the Management Plan and proposes some thoughtful changes to Council’s four main coastal camping areas.
The Draft Plans are available to view here:
- Draft Coastal Reserves Management Plan (pdf – 4.9MB)
- Draft Coastal Reserves Development Plan Part 1 (pdf – 240KB) – Part 2 (pdf – 635KB)
There are paper copies available at the district Libraries, as well as at the Council offices at 19 Kitchener Street, Martinborough.
SUBMISSIONS
These plans help us manage and maintain our community areas so your submission is important. Please take some time to read the draft plans and send us your thoughts. You don’t have to be a South Wairarapa resident to make a submission – we welcome feedback from any and all of our coastal reserve users.
You can use the submission form we’ve provided, or you can write us a letter or send us an email. The deadline for submissions is Wednesday 3 April 2013 and there are several options for making a submission:
- Download a submission form and post it to us
- Email your submission to feedback@swdc.govt.nz
- Write a letter to:
