We are now accepting applications from members of the community who have a broad knowledge of the arts environment in the local community, to sit on the Creative Communities Assessment Committee for the years 2014-2016.
Assessment Committee Functions
The main role of the Committee is to assess applications and allocate funding, however there are other functions of the Assessment Committee as follows:
1. Receiving reports and discussing completed projects.
2. Attending events funded by the scheme.
3. Discussing and making recommendations for promoting the scheme locally.
4. Attending meetings organised by Creative NZ.
5. Contributing to an annual report to Creative NZ on the local operation of the scheme, including commenting on successful projects and particular challenges or issues.
6. Electing community representatives to the committee based on a public nomination process.
Complete the Assessment Committee Nomination form or contact the CCS Administrator if you are able to donate a small amount of time to be a member of this Committee.
