Helen (Darkie) BARROW – Featherston Ward and Featherston Community Board
It is with regret that I inform all Featherston electors that Helen (Darkie) BARROW has recently passed away.
As this has occurred during the voting period, I am required to advise electors as soon as possible.
Voting opened for the South Wairarapa District Council elections on Friday, 20 September 2013. Voter packs were delivered between Friday 20 and Wednesday 25 September.
Unfortunately any votes already cast for Helen Barrow will not be counted. I encourage all electors yet to vote to tick the circles for their preferred candidates without selecting Helen Barrow.
Unfortunately votes already completed and sent cannot be changed. All votes for other candidates on those voting papers are valid and will be counted.
This leaves four candidates for three places in the Featherston Ward, and six candidates for the four places on the Featherston Community Board. Voting closes at 12 noon on Saturday 12 October 2013.
