Martinborough Square Submissions Hearing

Under section 41 of the Reserves Act 1977, a hearing is scheduled to hear submissions on the Martinborough Square Reserve Draft Management Plan and Draft Development Plan.

The hearing will take place in Council Chambers, 19 Kitchener Street, Martinborough, on Wednesday 4 July commencing at 9.00am. The hearing is open to the public, however only those submitters who previously indicated they wish to be heard can participate.

Summary of submissions

After the hearing a Council officer will write a report for the full Council to consider at their next meeting.  The Council will consider the submissions, the hearing and the officer’s report and will make a decision on the plans.  The Management Plan then needs to be approved by the Minister for Conservation as required by the Reserves Act.
