Free fund finding events are popping up in three locations in the South Wairarapa this week and next to help the community learn how to get started with the new Fund Finder tool.

The first of the three pop up events kicks off on Friday 23 August at Featherston Library.

All three events are free to the community and open to everyone to drop in anytime.

Martinborough Library Funding Chat Pop Up – Monday 26 August 1.30pm to 4.30pm

Greytown Library Funding Chat Pop Up – Tuesday 27 August 1.30pm to 4.30pm

“These pop up events are available to anyone who’d like some help to sign up and get searching for grants and funding using Fund Finder, so please come along if you need funds. We hope people will pop in to hear more about the new Fund Finder, which is an awesome online tool that hand picks grants and funding opportunities specific to your project’s needs,” says Siv Fjaerestad, Community Development.

Lina McManus from the council’s Funding and Grants team will also be available at these events to support with Community Wellbeing Fund, Creative Communities and other general grants queries.

“If you can’t make any of these times but would like us to come to you and step you through Fund Finder and how it can help your project or business, get in touch and we can set up a time.”
