Do you know a deserving over 65 year old who’s still giving back to their community?
Nominations are open for Age Concern’s Senior of the Year.
The award recognises Wairarapa residents in their golden years whose voluntary work continues to have a positive impact on other people’s lives.
A special morning tea will be held for the winner in Carterton on October 1, the International Day of Older Persons.
Nomination forms can be sent into the Age Concern office, Solway Showgrounds, posted to PO Box 865, Masterton, or emailed to manager@acww.nz
They must be received by midnight Friday 16 September 2022.
Also in the Positive Ageing space, the 2022 Age Friendly Fund (previously Community Connects) grants round has opened and runs until Friday 23 September.
