For safety reasons, Hinekura Road is temporarily closed to all vehicles as we continue to assess the impact of heavy rain in the last three days.

The road was open yesterday to 4WD vehicles only. Today that is not an option. Please do not try to drive through.

Our roading engineer has been at the site this morning and our contractors and engineering consultants are on the way to assess the damage and options for remediation. We will provide updates as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.
