The Delta variant is highly contagious, and the Council does not wish to create any additional risks to staff or visitors while we remain at Alert Level 2.
Our office will open from Thursday 9 September. The following conditions will apply until we move
to Alert Level 1:
- Access by the public in person will be 9am to 12pm, Monday to Friday, excluding public
- holidays.
- To reduce the high risk of Covid-19 transmission, anyone wishing to visit our office must make an appointment. This allows us to stagger visits at safe intervals and clean in between visits.
- The appointment form is available on our website, or you can call us on 06 306 9611 to book a time.
- The above excludes our Planning and Building teams as you can continue to book appointments with them directly using existing channels
- It is advisable you let us know in advance if you wish to meet with someone specific so that we may arrange for them to be available onsite.
We will sanitise our public access areas between each visit.
When you visit our offices you must:
- Scan the Covid-19 QR code displayed or sign in if you can’t.
- Wear a face mask. Anyone without one will be offered a disposable mask. Should you decline, or not wish to wear one, then you will not be allowed into our offices.
