Members of the public are invited to attend a meeting to discuss the Featherston Wastewater Consent Application at 6.30 pm, Tuesday 15th May, 2018, Anzac Hall, Featherston.
The meeting has been called to introduce the Featherston consent application for people to make submissions.
The application has similarities with the recent Greytown and Martinborough consents, taking into account the unique circumstances in Featherston. It proposes a phased approach to remove any discharges from freshwater and apply it to land, through two stages of irrigation and finally deferred winter storage.
The meeting will be a presentation summarising the application with a limited opportunity to answer questions. Further meetings may be planned depending on demand.
Dates for public submissions – from 16 May, closing 14 June 2018.
