From 1 May, the opening hours for South Wairarapa libraries will be extended to give ratepayers better access to library services and books.

• Martinborough library hours  for Saturday are being extended by 2 hours into the afternoon – currently open 10am until 12pm; new hours will be 10am until 2pm.
• Greytown Library will be open for an extra 2 hours on a Tuesday evening – currently Tuesday 9.30am until 5pm; new hours will be 9.30am until 7pm. 
• Featherston Library will be open for an extra 2 hours on Thursday evening – currently Thursday 9.30am until 5pm; new hours will be 9.30am until 7pm.
