Over these past few days, since chlorination of the Martinborough Town Water network, Council has been sampling the water daily at multiple sites and testing it to confirm that the chlorine has reached the minimum level required for disinfection, and that the water continues to be clear of E coli.

A decision will be taken by Council and Regional Public Health today on when the boil water notice can be lifted.
