Whangārei Resilience Fund Raffle

South Wairarapa District Council is running a raffle fundraiser for Whangārei District Council to support their Resilience Fund.

Local businesses have been very generous with prize donations for the Whangārei Resilience Fund Raffle. Our original prize pool was more than we were allowed to giveaway in one raffle, so we split the prizes and are running two more raffles.

The first raffle was drawn on 26 July – congratulations to T.Langley! The second and third raffles will run from 26 July to 16 August.

Tickets are $5 each and can be purchased with cash only from the Council office in Martinborough or any of the South Wairarapa libraries.

If you purchased a ticket for the first raffle, you will automatically go into the other raffle draws.

Raffle 1 prizes:

  • Turret House spa voucher
  • Neighbourhood coffee voucher

Raffle 2 prizes:

Terms and Conditions

  1. The Raffles are organised and administered by the South Wairarapa District Council, 19 Kitchener Street, Martinborough.
  2. The purpose of the Raffles is to raise funds for the Whangārei Resilience Fund
  3. Raffle tickets can be purchased for $5 paid in cash only at the Council office in Martinborough or the South Wairarapa libraries.
  4. The prizes for each raffle are gift baskets of goods and vouchers valued between $400 and $500 donated by local businesses.
  5. The winner for Raffle 1 will be drawn under police supervision on 26 July.
  6. The winner for Raffle 2 and Raffle 3 will be drawn under police supervision on 16 August.
  7. The winners will be notified within 20 working days of the closing date by phone.
  8. The winner’s name will be announced on the South Wairarapa District Council Facebook page and website.
