Several roads in the South Wairarapa district are still closed after flooding during the weekend. Cape River Road is closed due to a washout at the bridge. Our team is on the way. Also closed:

• Backwater Rd

• Puiko West Road

• Pahautea Road

The Lower Valley Flood Way is in operation and Kahutara Road is open. The Waihenga bridge is open with speed restrictions.

In Carterton district,  all roads are open but there is still water holding on some roads. Drive with caution.
